Janus' Panama

Panama represents some of the best genetics coming out of Janus Alpaca & Fiber Co.'s breeding program. With this young male, they have taken the Victor and Cloud lines and added to the mix, Premier's Absolute - and Janus Panama is the result!!!

Panama is the son of Multiple Champion Light Rose Grey, Emerald Farm's Stratus Cloud and Black Velvet Zora (one of Janus' best producing dams).

He carries a lovely head with dense topknot, correct conformation, and complete coverage. Not to mention his Wonderful Tree Trunk Legs! A Beautiful Rose Grey with a Spot Free Blanket.

His fleece carries a broader lower amplitude style of fleece with a soft, silky tremendous handle and excellent staple length (his dam is one of Janus' farms biggest shear weights each year).

His maternal 1/2 siblings are all high end alpacas, including Janus Berreta (TB Black) and Janus Nicolette (TB Female) and his sire is producing amazing progeny as well.

Panama's lineage consists of Premier's Absolute, Cloud 9 Comet, Rosario, Snowmass Don Julio's Prestige, Peruvian Don Julio, Emerald Farm's Mirra Cloud, Carmen Cloud, Bolivian Mr. Know It All, Danko, Amante De Peru, Accoyo Victor and MMR Black Velvet (Maggie Kriegers Canadian bloodline).

Janus' Panama offers tremendous genetics and phenotype; but he throws a little curve into the mix by adding his being recessive black (thanks to his black dam).
